As a Daycare Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom management, implementing behavior management strategies, and supporting early childhood education.
Duties:
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities - Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and naptime - Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment - Monitor and ensure the safety of children at all times - Assist with diaper changes and toilet training - Support children's emotional well-being and social development - Collaborate with other staff members to create a positive learning environment - Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with children in a daycare or preschool setting - Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices - Ability to manage classroom behavior effectively - Familiarity with infant care, toddler care, and childhood development - Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred - Strong communication skills, both verbal and written - Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children At our daycare center, we offer competitive pay rates, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
